The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the launch of Online Ticket Sales for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Cote d’Ivoire 2023 on November 11. The initiative aims to attract football enthusiasts from across the continent and beyond to participate in this major African Football Event.
According to a statement released on Thursday on the CAF Website, sales will commence on November 11, starting with an exclusive phase for VISA payment Card Holders. Subsequently, on November 13, Public Sales will open on the Platform, allowing wider access.
Interested Individuals can purchase tickets at http://tickets.cafonline.com/AFCON. This move is designed to enable Fans to secure their Tickets well in advance of the Tournament scheduled for January 13 to February 11, 2024.
To enhance the ticketing experience, CAF has developed a dedicated and user-friendly platform on its website, ensuring a seamless process for fans. Veron Mosengo-Omba, CAF General Secretary, expressed the federation’s commitment to providing access to thousands of football fans who plan to travel to Cote d’Ivoire for the event.
Online ticket sales will not only benefit fans of African football but also the general public. The federation has received significant support from stakeholders and is optimistic about meeting the growing demands of fans.
During this phase of sales, 25% of the tickets for the group stage will be available, allowing fans to secure their seats for the 34th edition of the biennial football fiesta. Ticket prices range from 5000 FCFA (approximately 8 US Dollars) for Category Three (3), 10000 FCFA (about 16 US Dollars) for Category Two (2), and 15000 FCFA (around 24 US Dollars).
Fans will have the opportunity to purchase up to six tickets for the group stage, and the African football fiesta is scheduled to kick off in the Ivorian cities of Abidjan, Bouake, Korhogo, San Pedro, and Yamoussoukro from January 13 to February 11, 2024, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
