The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has revealed that three vessels are currently awaiting clearance to berth at the ports in Lagos, according to the latest edition of the “Daily Shipping Position” released by the NPA.
These ships are expected to bring a variety of cargoes, including general goods and crude oil, marking a significant movement in maritime activities within the region.
Of the three vessels, two are poised to dock with a combination of crude oil and general cargo, reflecting the diverse nature of imports and exports passing through the Lagos ports.
Furthermore, the report indicates promising developments at the Lekki Deep Sea Port, with five vessels scheduled to arrive. Among them, two vessels are set to transport crude oil, while others will carry containers, bulk urea, and petrol, showcasing the port’s growing importance in facilitating various trade activities.
