Greativation Limited, a youth-driven media and consultancy firm, has urged the Federal Government to establish a clear vision and strategic roadmap to help Nigerian youths access local opportunities. Dennis Agbeti, Managing Partner and convener of the “Wake Up and Smell the Coffee” conference held in Abuja on Tuesday, stressed the importance of rekindling hope among Nigerian youths who are increasingly emigrating or turning to crime due to a loss of faith in the country’s future.
Agbeti called for a ten-year vision from the government, noting that a clear direction would foster hope, purpose, and responsibility. He also highlighted the need for an enabling environment to unlock opportunities for young people, emphasizing that challenges can often lead to problem-solving opportunities that drive both personal and national transformation.
Keynote speaker Ayokunnu Ojeniyi also addressed the issue of emigration, stating that success principles remain the same globally. He encouraged Nigerian youths to leverage local opportunities in sectors such as agriculture and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), calling for resilience and creativity to overcome challenges.
