Nigerian leaders and CEOs are urged to harness the power of remote work for increased productivity in 2024, according to Caroline Lucas, Director of Special Projects at TEXEM UK. The British leadership development organization is set to host a hybrid program, “Effective Leadership in a Distributed World: Pioneering Enduring Legacies,” designed to equip leaders in Nigeria and the UK for effective remote leadership.
Scheduled from March 25 to March 27, the program emphasizes trust-building, enhanced productivity, and optimized leadership communication. Renowned faculty, including Roger Delves and Paul Griffith from Hult International Business School, along with Ambassador Charles Crawford, will contribute their expertise.
Lucas highlighted the program’s focus on improving employee retention and saving costs for organizations through enhanced competence in remote leadership. The unique hybrid option offers virtual sessions and a three-day UK immersion experience, combining tourist visits with immersive training using TEXEM’s proven methodology.
The program boasts numerous benefits, including enhanced collaboration, cost savings, increased productivity, a global reach advantage, quick response to market changes, job satisfaction, flexible scheduling, and stimulation of creative thinking. Lucas also noted the positive environmental impact of reduced travel aligning with sustainability goals.
Delegates are expected to develop skills to manage human resources in a distributed work environment. Past Nigerian delegates praised the program’s structure, interactivity, and adaptability to the business environment. TEXEM’s initiative aims to empower leaders to leverage their remote workforce, unlocking potential for a more competitive edge and enduring success.
