In a concerted effort to tackle misinformation surrounding the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), the Voice of Nigeria (VON) has pledged its platform to amplify the truth and combat disinformation. This collaboration was solidified during a visit by the Comptroller General of the NCS, Bashir Adeniyi, to his VON counterpart, Malam Jibrin Baba-Ndace in Abuja.
Baba-Ndace underscored the invaluable contributions of NCS personnel across the nation, highlighting their sacrifices and dedication. He emphasized the importance of informing the public about the commendable efforts of the NCS and dispelling any misconceptions. VON, with its wide array of language platforms, offered to assist in disseminating accurate information, particularly to border communities where the NCS operates extensively.
