Durubata Ltd. has officially launched Appmint, a no-code, AI-driven platform designed to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across Africa. Announced by CEO Jacob Ajiboye during a press conference in Lagos, the platform aims to empower startups, entrepreneurs, and SMEs by providing tools to build websites, automate operations, manage customer relationships, and gain data insights—all without coding.
Ajiboye highlighted that Appmint aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 and 8, focusing on quality education and promoting decent work and economic growth. The platform offers free training to equip young Africans with essential tech skills, fostering a pipeline of innovators for the global stage.
“Appmint is here to empower Africa’s youth, drive tech innovation, and fuel economic empowerment,” Ajiboye said. The platform aims to provide affordable and efficient tools to support the creativity and resilience of African entrepreneurs, helping them scale their ideas and compete globally.
Marketing Director Seun Tayo-Balogun emphasized Appmint’s potential to bring the efficiency and scalability of developed tech infrastructures to African startups while addressing local challenges.
